All aboard! picture

Dynam has welcomed not one, but two new employees in October.

Jayne is our new marketing manager, having returned to the Highlands after 13 years away. She knocked on our door at the beginning of the summer and did some project work for us. Straight away she fitted in with the team and we were so impressed with her that we offered her the position of marketing manager.

“My background is in client-side marketing and communications in the renewable and construction industries. I like the creative side of marketing – particularly content creation – but I’m also a big fan of data analysis and measuring results. I can often be found making charts and tables in Excel, which I probably enjoy more than most!”

Jayne lives in Carrbridge, close to the mountains and trails where she goes mountain biking, dog walking and snowboarding. If it’s raining, she can be found trying to regain her piano playing skills.

MartinMartin joins John in the web development team, replacing Alastair who has gone off to pastures new.

Martin has a background in IT support and web development and was most recently employed in the marketing team at the University of the Highlands and Islands.

“I have a passion for programming, it takes me back to building things with Lego: a mix of the technical and creative.”

Originally from Kirkintilloch, Martin made the move from London to Inverness so that he would be able to climb mountains whenever he wanted. Having ticked many of these off his list, he’s now being distracted by new pursuits including mountain biking, kayaking and running. He loves cooking Indian food to replace all those burnt calories, and adds to Dynam’s musical line up with his guitar, piano and mandolin skills.
