Content Management System
Every website we develop comes backed with our in-house content management system (CMS), making it easy to maintain the most complex of websites with an absolute minimum of computer experience.
A key feature of our CMS is that it separates the design of the website from the content, making it simple to manage the editing and publishing of your website. The visual aspects of the website, such as font sizes, colours and position, are all managed by the site-wide style sheets. This ensures complete consistency across the entire website - regardless of which editor is responsible for the content.
Uploading photos and images for use on the website is a breeze thanks to our image manipulation software; you can simply upload one size (the largest you have available) and it can be used anywhere on the website at whatever sizes are appropriate. All the resizing and optimising is done automatically, removing the requirement to pre-process the images prior to uploading.
If requested, a permissions system can be put in place that restricts access to certain areas of the CMS and/or website to certain members or member groups. This can be incredibly useful if there is a larger team maintaining the website content, and you wish to apply administration restrictions.
We are continually developing new features and modules for the CMS, expanding the capability of the system and constantly enhancing it.
