Charlene worked in the retail and hospitality sectors before coming to Dynam as office manager. She is extremely organised, and is also very good at organising the rest of us – an essential and (at times) difficult task! Charlene is a keen gardener and walker.

Amy came on board in 2019 as the newest member of our growing Glasgow office.

After graduating in International Business with Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, Amy moved to Inverness, beginning her career with the marketing team at Highlands & Islands Enterprise (HIE) in 2015. Working across a number of sectors including Regional Development, Strengthening Communities, Business Growth and Tourism, the highlight of Amy’s career has been leading on the development of HIE’s Year of Young People activities.

With the central belt beckoning once again, Amy had a brief stint with Scotland Food & Drink before joining Dynam, where she has settled into the Glasgow office very quickly.

Amy developed a love of writing and literature at an early age, and is a keen writer and blogger with dreams of becoming a published author one day. Her keen interest in design and graphics has lead to her developing her skills in this area.

This love of words and feel for design - combined with a flair for marketing and strong sectoral experience - has already made Amy a valuable addition to the team with lots to contribute. Dynam has yet to land her ideal client - a gaming company to let loose her creative and geeky streak - but we’ll work on it!

It’s hard to believe that Amy has time for other hobbies, but outside of work she can be found scaling the heights with her haphazard hillwalking group, indulging her passion for music, and travelling.

Eleanor has more than 20 years’ experience of working in creative agencies in the Highlands, Edinburgh and London, particularly in the fields of marketing strategy, branding and media planning. She has excellent people skills and a flair for pinpointing what it is that clients are really looking for. As past president of the Inverness Chamber of Commerce, Eleanor has demonstrated her in-depth knowledge of the business scene in the Highlands and Islands.

Eleanor lives in Nairn with her husband, Campbell, their three sons and Effie the dog. She loves running and cycling, and now and again she books herself into a bike race or marathon for an extra challenge.

Louise hails from Inverness, and arrived at Dynam with 17 years’ experience in design and print - both as an employee and as a self-employed freelancer. Her sharp eye for detail and years of hands-on experience in producing print-ready artwork gives Louise an invaluable business-like approach to all aspects of design.

Away from the job, Louise makes the most of the spectacular outdoors, loves camping and plans regular summer escapes to the sun!

Charlie joined Dynam in April 2019 as part of our design team. After a childhood spent in Tunbridge Wells, he went on to study Illustration at Solent University, Southampton.

After graduating, Charlie worked as an intern for London-based agency Cubo before being appointed lead designer at hospitality and events company, The Columbo Group, where he produced branding and promotional material for nightclubs, bars, festivals, restaurants, and anything else that fell loosely into the ‘nightlife’ category.

After turning freelance, he worked wherever the wi-fi signal was strong enough. His experiences include living in the French Alps for three years as well as spending a summer in Berlin. In between honing his design skills, Charlie has also been fortunate enough to travel, DJ-ing in quite a few places around the world.

Eventually, he met a Scottish girl in the French Alps, who convinced him to move back with her to the Highlands. Fast forward three years and Charlie has landed in Inverness and is now firmly a part of the Dynam team Charlie cites the best things about working with the team are cake, dogs and cool projects - in that order.

Away from the job, Charlie’s childhood interests in music and snowboarding have followed him into adulthood, joined by mountain biking and cooking. His dream brief would be a project called Around The World in 80 Plates, involving visiting a different country each month and producing a graphic or illustration inspired by a local meal. If you would be interested in funding such an activity, you know who to contact!

Following five years in a Glasgow design agency, Sarah came up to Inverness to strengthen Dynam’s valuable core skills, drawing on design for both print and web, including branding, typography, illustration and photography. Her previous job gave her plenty of time to explore the Highlands, so a job based in Inverness was an unmissable opportunity. She also brings the creative edge and brand acumen to Dynam’s digital campaigns creating infographics and animated shorts that make an impact online.

Now happily ensconced in her new location, Sarah is free to road cycle and snowboard, and soak up the scenery and night skies as much as she likes.

Karen has over 30 years’ experience in the design industry, much of it spent at Dynam. She is joint director with Eleanor Neilson and manages Dynam’s team of designers. Karen’s own area of expertise is exhibition design and build, and production management.

Karen likes going to Spain on holiday (for the extra-strong coffee and sunshine) and looking after her cat that thinks it’s a dog. Hailing from the other side of the Kessock Bridge, she’s also a big Ross County supporter.

Dynam first met Fiona when she was working for one of our clients, the Highland Hospice, on communications and fundraising for their hugely successful Project Build Appeal - but you could also catch her dressing up as Bobby the Bee when necessary! More recently, Fiona has been part of the communications team for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

With a degree in journalism, Fiona brings an array of different skills to complement the current marketing team. Her specialist skills lie in both traditional and digital marketing, event management and PR.

Out of the office, Fiona is an outdoor girl who loves exploring new places in the Highlands and travelling further afield. She’s a keen runner and a big music fan, so you’ll often find her out in the wilds with her favourite tunes blasting in her ear – everything from 80s rock to disco!

Following a childhood on the Black Isle, our newest recruit has always had a strong interest in developing his creative side, from the discipline of technical drawing to the freedom of expression he found in his secondary school art classes.

Taking his artistic talents further at university, where he studied computer animation and digital art, Gordon followed graduation by making the jump to working on computer animated TV productions in Glasgow. Here, he developed a strong suite of skills across many technical aspects of production.

Away from the day job, Gordon pursues creative projects in both analogue and digital environments, and can often be found lost inside his own virtual reality world.

David has been with the company since 2002 after initially being drafted in on a student placement. Dynam was so impressed with his ability to align creative thinking with marketing disciplines that he was offered a full time position and he is now a fully-fledged senior member of the design team. A clear understanding of business principles, strong creative acumen and good communication skills have made him an invaluable asset.

He is based in our Glasgow office so we mostly see his face across Skype, though he does sometimes come up the A9 and give his desk in Inverness a dust-down. When he’s not working on his West End tenement flat, David can be found with a camera around his neck, pretending to live in sunnier climes from a pavement café in Finnieston.
